In honor of his promotion to regular cast member on Supernatural, I decided to do a little post on Misha Collins (Castiel). If you ask me, I think Misha was a huge reason for why viewership grew this season. Also, he fits in really well with the boys we know and love, both on and off the screen. Did anyone catch what he did at the Australia convention? HI-larious. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, get your ass to YouTube already.
Misha, along with his blue eyes and chilseled face, has also appeared on 24 (Season 1). In addition, he played a memorable character on Nip/Tuck. But I will always know him and love him as Castiel. Lord, have mercy, indeed!
Random question…will his wardrobe change next season? And does Castiel ever have to do laundry or is he perpetually pristine? Not that I mind the suit and trench coat. But I think fans are itching to see what’s underneath all those layers. Blasphemy!
Yeah, so Scott Porter isn’t unattractive; he is most certainly a handsome guy. But that’s not why I have a crush on him. This guy is so freaking talented! After three seasons of watching him play Jason Street on Friday Night Lights, I must shamefully admit that it’s his bit parts in Music & Lyrics and Speed Racer that are making me want more. To top if off, the guy can sing and dance (helloooo….original cast member of Altar Boyz!) AND he seems like a genuinely nice guy who has great taste in music.
Hollywood, are you listening? Someone give this guy a lead role already! I truly belive he can do it all: comedy, drama, romance, action…don’t let his talent go to waste.
I have REALLY got to stop discovering TV shows. After getting caught up with Burn Notice, I started watching Eureka. This is a fun scifi show (on the SciFi channel) that is funny, smart, and – at the risk of being redundant – FUN. And how have I not noticed this cast before? There’s the wonderful Colin Ferguson (totally my new boyfriend), the beautiful Salli Richardson-Whitfield, handsome Ed Quinn, loveable Joe Morton, pretty and sassy Erica Cerra, the wonderfully quirky Neil Grayston (Wonderfalls, anyone?!), and the ADORABLE and fantastic Jordan Hinson. Just more people to stalk in Vancouver! You know I watch WAY too much TV when I immediately know whether a show is shot in Vancouver or LA.
I’m approaching the end of the season 1 DVDs, season 2 is in the mail, and season 3 currently airs on the SciFi channel.
I’m not sure what it is, but I get a little flutter whenever I see him on The Office. I’m really not as boy crazy as I seem to be. Anyway, it’s always nice to see someone on a TV show who you just know is smart in real life. I think that’s why I like James Roday, too.

I have finally started watching Psych as part of my efforts to watch every DVD I own before I buy any new DVDs (I already caved last week by buying myself some DVDs for my birthday). While I’m starting to hate the theme song for the show, I think I’m slowly falling in love with James Roday (or, really, the character he plays). Sigh. I’m still on the first season so please, no spoilers!

I’ve been catching up on Mad Men, which returns with a second season on July 27 on AMC. And all the guys are intriguing in their own special way. Or maybe it’s just the 60′s suits. I have a soft spot for Rich Sommer who plays Harry (glasses and bow tie). This show is so great – I can’t wait for it to come back! Matt Weiner is some kind of crazy genius.

Scott Michael Foster. David Walton. Kevin Christy. Mike Faiola (not pictured). I have a crush on the guys of Quarterlife. How exciting is it that I’ll be able to see them on actual TV rather than squinting at digital video on my damn computer? My crush on these guys really stems from my crush on this show. Credit goes to the super-endearing Scott Michael Foster for being the reason I started watching in the first place (my crush on him started with the show Greek). David Walton is just plain hot. They always make fun of Kevin Christy’s Andy for smelling badly. But he’s such a cute dork! And, okay, if Mike Faiola ever smiled at me in real life, I think I would die. No joke – unless he smells bad, and I refuse to believe that he does.
