I sometimes feel badly about my iPod since it’s totally old. The copyright on the back is dated 2004. It can’t play video, and it doesn’t have a color screen. To top things off, I stumble upon lots of articles, blog posts, etc. that talk about how iPods (my model in particular) just blow up one day and never work again. So, I’ve waited patiently for my iPod to get wonky and stop working…and it’s still alive and kicking. It even has a dent in the back from when I once dropped it. But here’s some exciting news. According to the newest issue of Real Simple magazine, if you bring an old iPod in to the Apple store, you’ll get a 10% discount off a new iPod. At least I know my old pal’s death won’t be in vain!

Oh, man…I will feel really stupid if my iPod dies after I write this post. I love you, iPod! Please don’t die!
