God bless friends with DirecTV. And God bless Taylor Kitsch’s abs. Without spoiling it for everyone, here’s my take on the episode.
Best line: “She went to bed with Jesus and woke up with you.”
Poor Saracen: There’s a never-ending bucket of crap that keeps getting dumped on this poor guy. I hope it turns around for him. In related news, the new quarterback is a real threat.
Realistic storyline? I won’t reveal anything, but someone needs to explain how Tami Taylor got her new job. After pondering that for a moment, I saw what a stroke of genius it was to put her in her new position.
Smash & Street: Everyone who pays attention should know by now that these two characters are going to be written off the show this season. No Jason Street sightings yet, but I am loving how they’re handling the Smash storyline.
It is an absolute crime that this show isn’t being aired on NBC right now and that it is not getting the recognition it deserves. I truly hope that this isn’t the last season of FNL, but only time will tell.

Last night’s episode of Friday Night Lights was brilliant as usual. But, upon reflection, I got really upset. Can these characters ever really be happy or have a good day? Can the Panthers ever encounter a team that isn’t comprised of a bunch of douchebags? Can Tim Riggins ever catch a break? Can Tyra and Landry either get together for real or leave each other alone forever? I’m starting to feel really badly for these people! Here’s to better times in Dillon!!
